Attention All Metamora High School football players from 1979-1983.
I have to get this off of my chest. As a member of the Marchin' Redbirds, I faked the school song. All four years. I never really learned it. I feel that I let you down in some way. Not showing support for you and all.
why is this coming up now? well, I've had that damn song in my head all day - and for the life of me, I still can't finish it! How annoying is that?

I wouldn't feel bad, do you think any of the football players knew the words to the fight song, or even, knew that there was a fight song?
guess what - I never learned that damn song either. However, Christina is sitting next to me and singing it loudly as we speak....go redbirds
